PostCopilot is a set of free tools for getting data out of Threads and X/Twitter, and for making content to put back into them. Neither platform gives creators a real export button: there is no "download my followers" link, no way to archive your own posts, and no official route to save a video you want to re-cut. Everything here exists to close one of those gaps, and everything here works on public data you could already see in your browser.
There are two ways to use it. The web tools run entirely on this site — paste a username or a link, wait a few seconds, download a file. Nothing to install, and no account needed to start. The Chrome extensions run on the Threads or X page you are already looking at, which means they work with your own logged-in session and can go deeper than an anonymous web request can. Most people start on the web and move to the extension once they need bigger exports.
The follower export is the tool people come back for. Give it any public handle and it walks the full follower or following list and hands you a spreadsheet: username, display name, bio, follower count, verified status, and profile URL for each account. The post exporter does the same for a profile's posts, capturing the text, timestamp, like and reply counts, and the media URLs. Both produce CSV or JSON — CSV opens straight in Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets, and JSON is there for anyone piping the data into a script.
On the free web tier you get 3 exports a day, capped at 20 posts or 100 followers per export, with one export file download per day. That is deliberately enough to answer "is this list worth having" before anyone asks you for money. The free Chrome extension is more generous for bulk work — 250 followers and 250 following per account, with no daily cap — because it runs on your machine and your session rather than on our servers. Paid plans lift the web limits to 10,000 items per export; the pricing page lays out exactly what changes.
The Threads video downloader without watermark takes any public post link and returns the
original MP4 exactly as Meta's CDN serves it — no re-encode, no quality loss, and no watermark burned
over the top. Images come back as full-resolution JPGs. It handles both /post/ permalinks
and the short /share/ links the mobile app produces, which is the format most people
actually have in their clipboard. It cannot reach private accounts or posts that require a login, and
it is not meant to: if you cannot see it signed out, neither can the tool.
The AI post generator drafts Threads posts from a topic or a rough idea, in a couple of different angles so you can pick rather than accept. The mockup maker is a different thing entirely — it renders a Threads-styled image for design comps, tutorials, and memes. It makes pictures, not posts; it cannot publish anything, and using it to impersonate a real person is against our terms.
Web export results live in server memory for at most an hour, only so you can download the file you just made. They are never written to disk and are gone if the server restarts. Extension exports never reach us at all — the file is built in your browser and saved straight to your computer. We do not sell data, we do not build profiles from what you export, and we only ever touch information the platforms already publish publicly. The privacy policy covers this in full, including a section on data about people other than you.
